FOCUSED STIMULATION

A MODERN EXTENSION OF ACUPUNCTURE

Electroacupuncture combines traditional acupuncture with gentle electrical stimulation. Once fine, sterile needles have been placed at selected acupuncture points, a low-level current is passed between specific needles to provide consistent stimulation.

At Carlos Nagliatti Acupuncture in Nenagh, the technique is carefully adapted to your comfort, individual presentation and treatment goals.

DURING YOUR SESSION

The treatment begins much like traditional acupuncture. Once the needles are in position, selected pairs are connected to a small device that delivers gentle, controlled pulses. The intensity is gradually adjusted to a level that feels comfortable for you.

A CONTROLLED APPROACH

The points used, frequency and intensity of stimulation are individually selected. Electroacupuncture can be used as the main technique during a session or integrated with traditional acupuncture where appropriate.
